Here's The Self Defense Programs We Have For Women
We have two programs for you to choose from.
The first is our Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Class and the other is our Women's Only Self Defense Class.
Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is the BEST Martial Art for women to learn. Why? Because the majority of compromising situations for a female is when the attacker takes her to the ground. Stand-up martial arts just don't give you the tools needed to defend yourself against an attacker that is coming to grab you. Other martial arts would have you stand up and try and kick and punch the attacker, but in reality, unless you land a lucky strike, an attacker will go through those on or two strikes and grab her. Enter Brazilian Jiu Jitsu - the most effective ground martial art. Similar to Judo and Wrestling we start standing with the objective to take our teammate to the ground and subdue them with joint locks or submission holds. It's a blast, because it's truly the only Martial Art where the smaller person can stop the attack of a larger foe through leverage and technique.
Women's Only Self Defense Program: We have monthly free women's only self defense classes (Like us on Facebook to see when the next one is). This confidence building workshop will teach you how to defend yourself against an attacker and stay safe. With the increase in attacks on women in Georgetown and neighboring cities it's time we learn how to defend ourselves and fight back.
Awesome instruction and great place to train. They really go into detail with each technique that they show you so that you can best understand how to use it effectively. I highly recommend going!
